As a colorist with an emphasis of saturated hues and line, my oil paintings are a reflection of the natural world.

Most of my compositions have a sense of place while maintaining an abstract perspective.

I capture and create the essence of atmosphere and depth by layering colors and rhythmic lines.

Light, sun and the elements of air, water and earth are fundamental in my approach.

I am drawn to both the morning and evening light with an equal sense of awe.  The sky at early dawn or from twilight to dusk always allows me to reflect upon the wonders of life.  It’s a visual meditation for me.

My work is a direct response to the natural beauty of the outdoor world with a little added twist.
